I sleep under a peach tree

On the way to east sea I drop in a peach orchard to crave for carnal lust

Seeing the peach flowers radiating their sensual heart, I know my youth dreaming an early death is gone

How proper is it that some sin gets heavy even without being involved

This spring on this planet the tumultuous gunfires float like pine pollens carried on the wind over muddy water

Though I wished to get lost while asking for the roads to the sea,

the labor of the flowers toward the zenith, such an innocent campaign

lets my wounds trapped inside break out in sores

Under the sparse flowers of an old peach tree taking all her life longing for beauty

I lie down digging a grave, There used to be someone sprinkling water in a desert without a tree

all his life to meet with the word of an adorable being just once

Taking the petals falling into the pits of my whole body, my love,

my wounds would rather go inflamed, witnessing some yearnings there still left

with their stenching odor, I‘ve got to risk the sins that are heavy without being committed

On this sudden spring day, I wish to live with you for a long time,

to be avid for your bloodsucking lust

도화 아래 잠들다

동쪽 바다 가는 길 도화 만발했길래 과수원에 들어 색(色)을 탐했네

온 마음 모아 색을 쓰는 도화 어여쁘니 요절을 꿈꾸던 내 청춘 갔음을 아네

가담하지 않아도 무거워지는 죄가 있다는 것은 얼마나 온당한가

이 봄에도 이 별엔 분분한 포화, 바람에 실려 송화처럼 진창을 떠다니고

나는 바다로 가는 길을 물으며 길을 잃고 싶었으나

절정을 향한 꽃들의 노동, 이토록 무욕한 꽃의 투쟁이

안으로 닫아건 내 상처를 짓무르게 하였네 전 생애를 걸고 끝끝내

아름다움을 욕망한 늙은 복숭아나무 기어이 피워낸 몇 낱 도화 아래

묘혈을 파고 눕네 사모하던 이의 말씀을 단 한 번 대면하기 위해

일생토록 나무 없는 사막에 물 뿌린 이도 있었으니

내 온몸의 구덩이로 떨어지는 꽃잎 받으며

그대여 내 상처는 아무래도 덧나야겠네 덧나서 물큰하게 흐르는 향기,

아직 그리워할 것이 남아있음을 증거해야겠네 가담하지 않아도 무거워지는

죄를 무릅써야겠네 아주 오래도록 그대와, 살고 싶은 뜻밖의 봄날

흡혈하듯 그대의 색을 탐해야겠네
